The annual Golf Classic is a competition between the Army and Air Guard and has now been played consecutively for the past 53 years!  You can't say that about many things and we are extremely proud of this fact.

The format takes the top 16 finishers (gross score) from the Army and Air competitors and the best score takes home The Adjutant General's Trophy (donated by MG Blatsos).  I am sad to say that the Army has not won in sometime.  But there is always hope, Canterbury is a hilly course which play to the Army's strengths!

There is also a trophy for the top overall finisher (the MSG John Doole Trophy) and a trophy for the top Patriot's Division (over 60) finisher.  Additionally, the top finisher in each flight (16 finishers) will also win a prize.

Your entry fee includes 18 holes of golf at Canterbury Woods CC, cart, practice balls and lunch.

Additionally, we always receive questions about friends and family who would like to play.  Of course they can join your foursome.  They can't help the Army or Air win, or win the Doole Trophy, but they can win other prizes.
